The Diet of the Dog is a 7-page PDF from the February 1941 Canadian Journal of Comparative Medicine. It talks about the versatility of dogs’ digestion and how in various areas of the world they subsist on a wide variety of foods, such as a mostly vegetarian diet or a mostly carnivorous diet.
Dogs, who have existed for thousands of years alongside man, must necessarily be able to adapt to the diet of the humans they live with. This PDF paints a more common sense approach to creating a diet plan for dogs.
Worth a read if you are considering how to feed your dogs.
