I’ve been there, and I’m here to show you how simple herbal goat care can really be!
I’m here to tell you that you can do this and I’ll show you how to replace your worry with clarity as you take your herd to new heights of health, naturally.
“Everything that I have seen so far of your educational materials, both on this page and on your site, has been hands down the best, most informative, and easiest to understand I have ever encountered, especially concerning goats. Sure, the fact that it also aligns with my own philosophies on care and medicine doesn’t hurt, but it is also well researched without being overwhelming. I don’t know how you find the balance there, but you really have a knack.
Your graphics always reflect the same; easy to read and to find precisely the information you’re looking for, simple yet thorough.
Because of all these factors, I’ve been excited about your course ever since you started talking about it.
Oh, and very important: I don’t think I would have ever dared or bothered to try the mineral buffet without your wealth of information and dedication to dissemination of that info. So glad I found you for that alone, as what a disservice it would be to my goats to not be doing that (I’m ashamed for the time I wasted hem-hawing over it!).”

“One of the things I appreciate about Megan is that she not only has a great deal of experience and knowledge, but she continues to research and learn, challenging ‘accepted knowledge’ to follow the science…wherever that takes her. She also places a high value on the individual, stressing the importance of adapting science to fit the needs of each herd, and empowering each farmer and herder to make their own informed decisions. She is incredibly generous with her time and resources, and is truly committed to making life better for goats and their people.”

“I wish every Group was like “The Holistic Goat“ group! Easy to navigate and understand holistic information within the files – and pictures – love the pictures and easy to understand visuals! If I could choose only one group it would be my top choice! Really excited about this and can’t wait to learn more!”

“We have only owned goats for about a year and a half, and it only made sense that we would raise them how we live as a family – holistically.
I still feel like I need to pinch myself that I was fortunate enough to find Megan’s group (via my goat mentor) so quickly!
I’m used to having to do LOADS of research on my own to figure out all the answers because nobody else seems to ever have good ones (or at least not that align with my beliefs/style).
Megan is my breath of fresh air. I know that whenever I need an answer, I can find what she’s written, and it is the advice I will follow. It has worked every single time so far.
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, she announced that she was going to release a course. Now we’ll get great advice all in one place. I am certain I will not be disappointed.”

“If it weren’t for you I would definitely have dead goats!
It all started with holistic parasite management for me. This group was transformational in the way I take care of my girls. The only time I have ever used an Rx to treat them, it totally backfired and I lost my sweet doeling.
Once I started reading your information- I had a much better understanding of the holistic approach for them. The bug-n-out formula is a GAME CHANGER.
Whenever I post something I secretly hope I see you in the comments because I respect your knowledge and opinion so much. I love this group you cultivated and the people who have helped me so much have all come from this group. Then when I finally dove in and got the mineral bar, I was so happy!
I can’t wait for your course and I’m sure I’ll be recommending it to everyone ❤️”

Megan Kutchman has been raising goats since 2008 with a focus on natural care and sustainability.
In 2010, she established Little Avalon Farm and became a professional breeder, going on to sell hundreds of kids until retiring from selling in 2022, but continuing to breed for personal goals.
She draws on the experience she has gained over the years in her quest for truly sustainable, holistically raised goats and teaches what she has learned to thousands of students in her goat group, The Holistic Goat, and website of the same name.
I completely understand that. It’s a large amount to spend upfront, but let me tell you about what it has saved me.
In the past 5 years as a professional breeder raising 30-50 kids each year, I have had only one visit to the veterinarian to get imaging on a goat.
In the past year, with over 40 goats (and 10 sheep) I have spent exactly $0 buying medications or special maintenance items for them.
If I’d had this course 16 years ago when I started? I imagine I’d have saved thousands of dollars in healthcare costs for my herd by now. How much have you spent on medications for your herd in the past year?
I felt the same way, especially with all the conflicting information I could find online.
When you’re using a conventional medicine, you simply read the label, administer the dosage and you’re done!
Herbs seem vastly more complicated and impossible. That’s why I knew I had to create this course.
It takes the entire world of herbal medicine and creates a repeatable system of specific dosages simplified into 8 separate protocols based on my own 15+ years of experience raising healthy, thriving, and *herbal* goats.
All you need to do is grab the appropriate herbal mixture you’ve already made up and give the dose listed in the dose charts!
How I know the feeling! I tried to create this course for someone like me: juggling work, child raising, homesteading, daily life and hopefully a healthy portion of self-care in there.
For that reason, courses are all in text and graphic format so they can be viewed at any time.
You also get lifetime access to the course (and any future upgrades) so there is no time limit.
The weekly Q&A sessions will be recorded and saved as well so you will always have access to the full course.
According to Google, the first pharmaceutical company was founded in 1885 and goats were first domesticated 9k – 10k years ago. What did our ancestors do to ensure the health of the goats they literally relied on for life? That was my quest to discover and what I offer in this course.
While I absolutely agree that herbs don’t work in all scenarios, I have heard too many success stories in my group of desperate goat owners turning to herbs when their conventional remedies didn’t work to say that herbs don’t work as well as conventional medicine.
And that’s what I want to teach: the underlying wisdom that helps you create a plan that allows herbs to work without being too rigid to say that we cannot ever use appropriate conventional medicine.
