Poisoning/Plant Toxicity
The first line of defense in a case of suspected poisoning or plant toxicity is to orally dose activated charcoal immediately and repeatedly. I recommend 1/4-1/2 teaspoon with enough water to make a runny slurry dosed every 15 minutes through the first hour. Dose with a drench gun or a needle-less syringe and squirt into the side of the mouth as slowly as is required for the animal to swallow consistently.
