Bloat
Bloat and a large rumen are often confused. One symptom tells you if it’s bloat or not: extreme distress. A distended rumen is never accompanied by obvious signs of distress that may include any of these: crying out, kicking stomach, panting, wailing, eyes rolling, groaning, rolling, etc. A goat with bloat is in agony and will show it.
